1. To add items from Library Resources, click ADD ITEMS+ button. You can search the library’s collection using ‘Basic Search’ or ‘Advanced Search’.
2. Each citation has an availability status stating whether the citation is available in physical format or an electronic format. Add selected items via drag-and-drop or by selecting an item.
3. Another way to add, is by selecting an item and an additional item options will appear. Select a List section and click 'Add'.
4. To remove an item from the list, go to options > Delete item, and confirm.
With Leganto Reading List, instructors can upload materials that are not available in the library's electronic collection.
The use and sharing of copyrighted materials are governed by the law. It is important to obtain a copyright clearance before sharing materials with your students.
1. To upload your own files (.pdf, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) as a citations to the list, click on the ADD ITEMS + button and open the ‘Create’ tab. If the resource is available online, you can add its URL in the 'Source' field. You can upload a local file from our computer via drag-and-drop.
2. Fill in the item details before adding a resource to the list. You can optionally add other details to your citation, such as Journal Title, issue and start and end pages.
3. Select the desired section and click ADD.
1. To install Cite It widget on your browser, click your username and select ‘Cite It!’ Simply drag and drop the ‘CITE IT!’ link to your browser’s toolbar. You are now ready to start adding web citations.
2. You can add citation from publisher websites, YouTube, Amazon and other similar sites. To add an item to your reading list, click ‘Cite It!’ and a pop-up appears with the item’s details. You can add the citation either to your collection in Leganto, making it available to add to your lists later; or directly to your reading list by clicking ‘List’ and selecting the list, and then section within the list.
