Module 4: How do I evaluate information?

 

You have articles and books in hand.

Now it's time to evaluate their quality.

This module will help you evaluate information and its sources using the CRAAP test.

After completing this module, you will be able to :

  • identify latest, reliable, authoritative of information sources.
  • choose the most appropriate search tool to find information.
  • access appropriate online databases.
  • construct a search strategy using Boolean operators, keywords, truncation/wildcards, and other search types.
  • refine the search results to narrow down a search.
